Good Day!
Welcome to my website which showcases my work over the years as a fine artist, decorative artist and muralist. I am so excited that you have decided to visit !
I am currently making some changes and will be uploading some new work to the site, that I have completed fairly recently. It has been and continues to be a priviledge and honor to work for some really wonderful people and in some truly wondeful properties.
Please be sure to visit the Ritchie House page for photos of the mural I completed in 2006. Although I have finished numerous projects since this one, it still remains one of my favorite commissions - to date. This mural is a pictoral history of Essex County, Virginia & Tappahannock, Virginia about 1760. As a student of history and a lover of the arts, this was a wonderful project for me to have been commissioned for. This room will be featured on the Tappahannock Treasures Historic Home tour during Rivahfest - the weekend of June 20, 2009. It can be viewed at any time by appointment. Please keep in mind that photos simply cannot truly capture the essence and feeling of this mural and is always best viewed in person.

In addition to my artwork, I have been and continue to be a contributing writer for several local, regional and national publications. Writing is something that I enjoy, very much. It allows me to express myself with words, instead of a paintbrush. I find the creative element present in either form of creative expression - whether it be painting or writing, although painting is my first love. I enjoy communicating and connecting with people through my painted and written works. One thing I have learned as I have grown as an artist and writer is that everyone has a story to tell.

As in everyone's life, mine is certainly no exception. . .there have been interesting twists and turns that I could never have anticipated that will shape my life and the course of my work, well into the future. These lifechanging events have challenged my thinking and the way I deal with every day life and work in several areas.
All of life is about growing, adapting and being enlarged to possess our future accomplishments, while living exhuberantly in the present.
Bringing the extraordinary to life is what I do and is what I one day hope to teach to others to do. . . as time goes by.
