The portrait above is a progress photo of an english setter potrait that I am currently working on. I have completed almost two-thirds of this painting with detailing and highlights yet to finish. Shadows are currently predominant and will evolve with the additions of highlights and other extraordinary details. Visit my portraits and paintings page for more detail on this lovely portrait. The "setter" portrait above is painted in oils on canvas. This particular dog lived to point and pointed anywhere - anytime - He loved the snow. It is a tribute to Opus One of Piscataway.

I'm so glad that you have decided to visit my website - which showcases my work over the years as a fine artist, gilder, muralist, decorative artist and creator of exquisite custom wall and furniture finishes. I manufacture durable and lovely hardboard placemats using my custom artwork which will be featured in the future on another website. These are decadently gorgeous placemats that are made in the U.S.A. using non-toxic materials. They are cork backed and are in the testing phase right now!
With regard to my mural work, I have had the opportunity and privilege of working in some of the finest historic properties and high end homes in the Chesapeake Bay Region of Virginia.
My work has appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and in an assortment of places - online. You might even recognize some of the photos you will see on my website.
It has been a delight to have met so many wonderful people throughout the years who began as clients and have become lifelong friends.

I believe that as individuals, made in the image of God, we are born with the need and desire to appreciate all things lovely and to create something that endures in a meaningful way. As an artist I have experienced this first hand. As a writer I have come to KNOW that everyone has their own unique story to tell.
May we all dare to follow our dreams and live out the life we have been given with great joy and no regrets. The creation of something wonderful that is cherished by others is its own reward.
For many of us, the last few years have been challenging to say the least.
Certainly, all of us in one way or another have felt the pinch of uncertain economic times. Join me as we look up in a spirit of gratefulness for all that we have, all that we are and for all of the dreams and ideas within us that are yet to be fulfilled. . .in their own good time. Success is assured if we do not grow weary and loose heart.
